Fuel pick-up tubes

I need to replace my fuel pick-up tubes. Tanks are the standard 20 gallon on a 2000 model. All I can find are the West Marine Attwood brand tubes that are kinda pricy for the 24" to get cut down to 15". One reviewer posted that his tubes slipped off and left him dead in the water. Not what I like to hear... Anybody have a source for just the plastic tube?
