Can someone tell me how to post my 16' cruiser for sale. Also how to add pictures at the same time. I can't find the right forum index to do this. Thanks, Ron

Then click on "New Topic" and write up your for sale information.
Posting pictures is easy once someone explains it. The explanation, however, is too difficult for me. Here's one of several threads about how to post pictures.
I think you need to have a photo album on the C-Brats site here in order to post pictures. There ma be another way, and if so, I am no help there. If you have an album, it isn't to hard. Do what Marty said, and you will probably be fine.
If the photos are ANYWHERE on the internet (your computer doesn't count unless it's a server accessable by the internet) you can link to it using the IMG button above.
Just put the url for the photo between the img and /img blocks.
We don't like creating dedicated albums to be used only to post pictures of For Sale boats. But we do like pictures and encourage folks wanting to sell their boats to include them. The For Sale forum allows attaching picture files to posts which will display thumbnails in the message that prospective buyers can click to view the photo. There is also an album here that was made for posting ad pictures so they can be embedded in posts.
Actually, it isn't that we don't like creating the temporary albums, but they often end up being abandoned with just a few pictures, or having their pictures deleted altogether. There are hundreds and hundreds of albums on here, so housekeeping searches to find the unused albums can be a chore. We like to keep the albums in the Our C-Dorys gallery active and current.
What we have done the last couple times requests have been made (including for Ron) is create albums inside the present For Sale album to link to the ad poster's profile. That will work for folks with lots of pictures who prefer not to use the other embedding methods.
We try to keep everyone happy, including Bill and me!
