One of the fish Jon and Bill caught today fishing from their C-Dory 16, Pee Wee. This is Jon's 32 pound King! Sweet.

What makes it even worse -- they caught it right in my own backyard. Lived a couple of miles from there as a kid (yep, I was one once).

What makes it worse yet - Robbi only said we caught it. That lunker was one of two natives that had to be released yesterday...the other was approaching 20 pounds. Watching fish like that swim away, is just a tad frustrating. :amgry

We ended up with one 13 pound hatchery king in the box. Oh, and "we" ain't exactly accurate...Jon did all the keeper and lunker catching, my day consisted of humps, dogfish and manning the net.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Great day! Fillet and release size for sure. Good thing Cynthia wasn’t along because she ALWAYS catches the big ones! So happy you are enjoying your home-away-from-home!! I’ll try to get over that way soon – used to be a short trip, now it’s an all-day affair. Of course I could come by boat, eh? Beats the ferry.

Hey Dusty -

Good to see you on here. Come on over soon...

I was gone on "vacation" last wk & wasn't home. Otherwise, I would have caught the big lunkers too.

Hello C-Lou,

Sure miss you guys... fond memories of so many fun visits over there. Like the song says, "Dont get around much anymore," but think of you often. Stay in touch!

Hi Dusty, Jon and C-Lou......I sure do miss you folks!

Great to "hear" from you folks and see Jon "in action". I would say that it is good to see Bill "in action" too, but looking at the picture he appears to only be standing there smiling.

(Hey Bill, good to "hear" from you too! :beer )

Jon, C-Lou and Da Nag, thanks for your comments and postings. Lots of people think about you folks and wish you well.

Do you think Da Nerd could find time to teach me his phenomenal netting technique? He's so cool under pressure, with such grace and style.
