I've seen that program, it does look like a real kick in the pants. I've always wanted to try Baker Bay for sturgeon in the kayak. Could imagine hooking up to a big one...WAAA-HOO

Have not hooked any sturgeon from my yaks, but up in Barkley Sound, a rockfish I was reeling in became a meal for a seal, and the hook got lodged in his mouth ... I cut the line after two runs by the seal. :shock:

Down here this is known as the "southern sleigh ride"...hooking into small sharks is the prefered mode of power.
