Fish/Crab Whackers

As some of the NW C-Cory owners know I turn bowls on a wood lathe and have made a bunch of minature billy clubs out of Madrona which I have given out at various get to-gethers. About 12 inches long and solid enough to get any animals attention, and cause an immediate attention disorder.
I have turned about 6 more and will have them with me at the hotel this week-end at the Seattle Boat Show. If I have'nt given you one and you want one, just ask. I'll probably turn two or three more tomorrow.

See all that are coming, there.

If this ain't worth post number 1000, I don't know what is!

I have seen the whackers you make, and I gots to have me one! Please!

Dave,

Would you consider trading one for a bunch of rolled up paper? Oh, I just remembered I already promised to give it to you for a beer. Damn.

i would really like to have one for this come season. Always bonk your fish as soon as you can then cut his gills. we will be at the show saturday around 2pm.

I was lucky enough to get one of these at the lock cruise. (thanks again) For those of you who don't have one, they can also be used to adjust the attitudes of teenagers or (as Gallagher says) to teach even the dumbest dog to play dead. They slice, they dice, they even make julian fries but you gotta' hit those suckers just right!

David- Please save one for me. Although I C & R most fish, there are a few that I keep and the MECHANICAL ANESTHESIOLOGIST will find a welcome home on the Sea Wolf. Thanks!!! Joe.

Well..OK, me too. And in return, we'll waive your C-Brat dues for another year... :beer :beer :beer

Dave, would you put me down for one? I'll use it to keep my crew in order
See ya at the factory if not at the boat show.
Thanks
Terry

I think one might feel a bit out of place on my poor old fishing boat.
Can they get the attention of trailer bearings?
How about boat trailer salsmen?
Maybe I better have one.

I haven't had time to turn a tire little on a whacker...

Okay, so now I am keeping a list. AND I went out today and got some more Madrona and have made 6 more. 9 on the list and 5 in reserve. I probably will make a few more tomorrow.

See if I can do a picture. The foot is on purpose for perspective. (Size 11).

Dave,

I am going to get my first ever fishing license this year and I'd just love to have one of those fish whackers. Please save one for me. Thanks!

I can't read the fine print on those fish wackers. I'm sure its some kind of warning label required by OSHA
They look great! Will look ever better with some fish blood. :smilep

If they will let them north of the border, I would love to have one.

People say that I am bonkers.... so now I would like to have one... Thanks

Dave,

Not only did I get my very first fishing license this weekend at the SBS but I received a really neat looking fish whacker. Thanks so much.
