Today we have returned to the Erie Canal from our trip up to Lake Champlain. We stayed in Whitehall for two days and did not eat at the Finch and Chubb. The reason is we found a new resturant in town called the "Good News Resturant". It is located in a former newspaper building.
It is chef owned and has a very interesting menu. The prices are right, the food is good, and the dinning room over looks the canal.
C-Trek is running very well. We are getting over 5 MPG and burning a little over 2 GPH thru the Honda 90. The weather is hot during the day, but we cover up every night.
Saturday we will head west toward Sylvan Beach. We cruised a while with Dori-C a 22 footer and here in Waterford we met Hugh the owner of a 16 foot cruiser.
By the way Mr. Grey the cat is a good swimmer. He slipped of the gunnel at Fort Edward. No harm done but it took 3 hours for his long hair to dry.
