Engine leg bubbles

I noticed on my new to me c-dory 22' with twin 35 hondas that when I tilt the port engine down into the water there is a thin trail of bubbles coming out of the rear of the joint where the engine leg and lower unit mate. Is this a matter for concern? I have not yet checked the lower unit but will tonight. The lower unit was removed shortly before I purchased the boat from a dealer as they had to repair a crack in the cavitation plate. It may be that they didn't get all the bolts tight.

Lloyd,

If those 35s are similar to the larger Honda's, that's not a sealed area. No gasket used in there. The exhaust exits through that area too.

Thanks. That is what I was first thinking but didn't want to take a chance without being sure. I have yet to tear into a honda.
