Hey, Patty -- Looks like a crab bake cooking up back on the Eastern Shore this June. How about you two taking a few days off, with all that new-found vacation time, and fly to Washington? Short hop over to the Shore and crabs a'cooking. Can couple it with some vacation touring of the District, or Williamsburg, or ... an educational trip for Austin ... a beach romp for Oscar ... and some good visiting times ... How about it?

David -- they'll need a couple of your patented fish whackers back there in the Chesapeake, to prepare for the fish fry, so how about you guys joining with Pat and Patty and have a shore dinner on the Eastern Shore?

Maybe a gang of Nor'westers can charter a flight? Think big, right? Don't we have some pilots in our group??
 
Don't know about Pat and Patti, but Kate and I will put it on our wish list right after, Raymarine C-80 plotter, radar, radio, radar arch, camper back, 6 new fenders, lines, undersink slide-out storage conversion, and fill up that 107 gallon gas tank for the first time.

Sounds like a fun time, take lot's of pictures.
 
Patty here. Well, now, didn't you just put a smile on my face. What would be the dates of this soiree (the crab part, anyway)? As a matter of fact, we have a wedding on Long Island June 12 so it's not such a far fetched idea, is it?
 
Hey El and Bill (and anyone else who may be cruising the upper Potomac),
Just wanted to let you know that if you are interested in a visit to Mount Vernon, George Washington's home, you can go by water, pull up at the dock, buy your ticket right there, and stay as long as you wish. I've taken many out of town guests there and they love it, especially arriving and departing by C-Dory!

Looks like Tom on Terraplane has settled on a June 3, 4, 5 date for the Gathering. Place yet to be decided but on the Eastern Shore. If they anchor out for a night, and not too far from a dock, we'll happily be the 'ferry' for you folks -- you can eat aboard with us, and if you have camping gear, you'll be set on the beach. If it rains? ... well, we're good friends, right? El and I in the cockpit, you guys in the V-berth, Austin on the bench, and Oscar on the cabin sole -- OK?

Whee-oooo. What a party!!
 
This may be do-able - the wedding in Long Island is June 12, I just need to earn a bit more comp time!
