columbia R spring chinook

Water temperature today-43, Tons of logs coming down, Willamette dark brown, a fish cop told me we need cleaner warmer water and less of it. Basically very few fish. Whats going on down river? Roger
 
things haven't been going on much down river, just relaxing hours on the river. reports indicate that fishing is heating up. I'm going to hit the river hard the rest of the week, if anybody is interested in fishing the 3 to 6ish afternoon shift wednesday or thursday give me a yell
 
The water temp at bonnie has gone up to 48 and the flows have started to drop some also you can see the numbers of fish going over the dam is starting to jump up should just get better from now on . I just hope they let us fish some more days ,can't go till next week . Keep your fingers crossed.

I think it'll be all done Sunday until later in May. If the managers of OR and WA thought about extending it past this weekend, I think they would have scheduled it to close again on Friday, and had another meeting Thursday to decide whether to extend or not.

Saturday's my last trip, then I gotta bring the boat home to get ready for shrimp season.
