CD22 Removing Starboard read window

Being in Central Texas, I have decided I need A/C in the cabin. I have decided to install a window unit, very similar to what Tex has done with Bixby’s Cub. (For several reasons, I do NOT want to cut a hole in the roof. Radar, already using that roof space, etc, etc). I have removed the inner frame (about 20 square head screws) and have removed the gasket from the exterior. I can see the edge of the glass. However, it looks like the glass is epoxied to an inner frame and around the edges. This is a very thick, black, very “gooey” substance.
Question: Does anyone have experience getting the rear window out, and what technique did you use to remove or “pop” out the window? It looks like it must go out to the rear of the boat, but I really don’t want to break the glass. Any ideas are appreciated!

OK, I got the window out, without breaking the glass.
Step 1. Remove the outer frame inside the boat. This was held in by about 16 screws.
Step 2. Remove the outer gasket on the outside of the window in the cockpit. Mine came out pretty easily with no tears or issues.
Step 3. Remove the black "gooey" adhesive as much as you can with the putty knife.
Step 4. (this one is important) Use Marine Formula from de bond formula (https://marineformula.com) Spray this stuff on (I used the pump bottle), and let it sit for a few minutes. This will soften the adhesive considerably.
Step 5. Continue working with the putty knife on BOTH sides of the glass. Continue to use the marine formula as needed. This is a messy job, have lots of paper towel handy. The black adhesive becomes less like putty.
Step 6. I was able to eventually get my putty knife under the glass from the inside (where most of the adhesive is) and put the window out toward the stern of the boat.
