Catamaran Article in Nov/Dec Boating World
Anyone else here see the article on catamarans in the November/December issue of “Boating World” magazine? Here is a west coast boating magazine with a near last page article about “10 Reasons To Become A Cat Person”, Specifically about “the unique new breed of cats on the prowl” in the US. “Lighter, stronger, and better equipped than cats of yore, these towable felines can go where others fear to venture, and they get there at high speeds by water. And by land.”

The author, ZUZANA PROCHAZKA, is an accomplished writer, photographer, traveler, guide and mariner. Seems she would have to know that there are more than seven catamaran manufactures on the west coast, or in the USA, but maybe not. There are seven manufacturers listed with the article. Maybe it should be up to the editors to fact check, or check for inclusive/exclusive listings. And, there is nothing that says the listing is indeed all inclusive.

Maybe there is another issue, the people at “Boating World” have no idea that there exists a trailerable, fast, well found and seaworthy catamaran called Tomcat 255 built in the PNW. Maybe that is not their fault. I have cross noted (to both the Boating World mag and to NMI the article and the C-Dory mfg contact info. Maybe they can work it out.
