Nice job, folks!

Maybe if we all made calling cards we could exchange them at CBGTs and collect them?

Would serve to get the introductions done quickly!

Joe.

Thanks Joe,
I am glade you waited to post this after I was able to correct a misspelled word that Peter on C-Dancer had pointed out to me this morning.

Talk about luck!

Mike

I like that idea too..... I had a card from Sealife Mike long before I bought my boat... It is a really nice way to introduce yourself... and the C-Dory boat..
I will put it on my list of things "do do"

Let me mention that you can purchase Inkjet Business Card Paper at your Office Depot or Office Max outlets and download free software from http://avery.com (Design Pro Limited) and design your own cards and print them out as you need them. It's cheap! Adding graphics can sometimes take you to task but play around with your picture files in a Photo Editor and you will "geter done" in no time.

we have been doing this ever since we started the gathering thing. way back in C-Dog times.
I made it two sided. one side for our info about the boat and us, and the other side was info about our web site. I would use them when at the gatherings and also would leave them on boats that we would come accross in our travels. ever since I went to windows XP my computer wont recognize the MS Publisher 95 program that I made them on and so I need to make up a new one.

One thing to be aware of, when you print your own cards. If you print them on a Ink Jet printer, the ink will smear if they get moisture on them, Laser Jet will not.

I made my cards after seeing Pat's and visiting Seattle where my cousin had them for his 36' Grand Banks.

Oldgrowth, that is a snazzy card you did there. Watch out for Graphic Theifs...like me...... :D

Roger – what version of Publisher do you have on your computer? Publisher should be backwards compatible all the way to 95. I know it is to 97. You may have to install the converters from your Office/Publisher disk to read 95 files. If you want to, you can send me a copy and I will convert it for you, but I have to know what version of Publisher you have. My email address is on my card.

Mike – with today’s software anyone can be a graphics artist. Just look at me, I know not what I am doing, just hit some keys and surprisingly stuff happens.

PS: your card looks pertty good
