We left Nanaimo this AM at 9:00. We are now tied up at the Marina in Port McNeill. We are waiting for Grumpy and friends to arrive about 8:00pm.
Pilgrim, a CD-22 is across the dock from us. It is a California boat with some crab pots on board. Last name on the crab floats is Girardi.
It is mercifully cooler today and we're enjoying the 60s instead of the 90s we had in Nanaimo. The Marina is full. I didn't realize that Steve Jackman who owns the fuel dock had as much moorage as he does, probably 1000' ! He has a 180' Sailboat coming in Wed. I would stay just to see it's 210' mast!
No idea where we'll go tomorrow, but it will be a wonderful spot no matter where it is. 4 Bald Eagles overhead greeted us as we pulled into our slip. More to follow.
