So.... what kind of X-mas presents did you get for your boat? Santa (and my wife) was generous to the SeaDNA (the fact that I circled certain pages in the Cabella's catalogue probably helped).
The SeaDNA received:
A hand operated bilge pump - the back-up to the back-up. Now I can be legal in Canada.
Rubber non-skid to apply to the trailer fenders.
Several packages of 3-way swivels for bottom fishing.
And best of all - a really nifty remote operated search/spot light. This device, an Optronics Motion Pro Spot light, plugs into the cigarette lighter and has a suction cup attachment to mount on any smooth surface. It's a good suction cup - the kind with a lever to attach and release. A 15' cable let's you put the light where you want to. A wired remote with a couple of feet of cord hangs off near the 12V jack. The remote lets you turn the light on and off and swivel it in two axes. I played with it in the garage for about 10 mins yesterday. It works great - we'll see how it holds up over time.
Merry Christmas to all...
