Finally finshed.....my custom canvas job. Check it out in my album. No more faded blue gelcoat...it's all covered & protected. No need to hang window covers anymore, except when overnighting on the water. Goes on easily using existing snaps for CGAUX patrol signs and hanger straps from rails. Half the price of full cover that's too heavy and bulky.

It certainly is a different way of doing it. Something I would not have thought of.

This is what is so nice about this site. Someone is always coming up with a new and innovative design.

Mike-

Nice job! Very innovative!

Does "custom" mean just your design or your own making, too?

Joe.

Looks great and very practical. :thup
BTW who did your canvas work?

My design with input from Peggy at Channel Islands Canvas. We started to fit a full cover, and Peggy and I looked at each other with the same thought......"that's alot of heavy canvas". What I really wanted was to protect the blue gelcoat trim, which suffers the most from the sun. This design accomplishes that, it's light, easy on and off, and has a zipper entry into the cabin. No tie downs necessary.

I saw canvas just like that on a boat in the storage facility where I keep Fishtales--- great looking canvas. :moon
