Anyone hear about a Cdory on the rocks near orcas ?

A guy who works in the office next to me said he saw a CD get beat up real bad on the 4th out near orcas. Some big wind came up and whoever it was was trying to anchor out to ride out the gale and ended up on the rocks with some serious damage done to the boat And a cockpit full of water. Anyone know anything about this? He swears it was a CDory probably a 25, said he watched it happen, and tried to coax them into the cove he was in. Sounded pretty rough I hope whoever it was is ok.

We stayed at Eastsound the 2-3-4 july in a 25. Didn't see any other C-Dorys
but it was windy some of the time. We went to see whales on the west side
of San Juan. Tybo was also in that area at the same time .
C-Dory or not I hope there OK.

Yep, TyBoo Mike and Kay in the area - Oak Harbor for fireworks on the 4th, James Island on the 5th, and saw them yesterday at Islander Lopez. May or may not do Port Angeles, but definitely Bellingham. Having fun? You bet. Tiff and Jamie anxiously waiting for the pool to get cleaned when I left at noon.
