29' C DORY TOUR BOAT ERIE CANAL

At that home page, click on the last entry in the left hand menu box, brings up a big main picture that rotates through several pix. One of those shows a Rossburg, I couldn't find a C-Dory in there though.

Captain JJ says this is hull #1-has inboard diesel-says only 3 built.
He offers one hour cruise for 6 people @ $10.00 ea.

Hope you can see photo.

OK, now that link worked to a C-Dory. And it does look like a 29. I didn't know there were 3 of them. There was one around the factory for a while, a long time back, (like 06 or 07 maybe) and it did generate a lot of discussion. Someone eventually picked it up, but have lost track of it now, as far as I know.

There is one in Valdez, Alaska, owned by a friend of mine. The boat has done a good job for him in some pretty nasty seas. Inboard Yanmar.

I own one of the 29 c-dorys the boat has done great out in the open ocean been in pretty big seas and its handled them fine. I was going though the cut at tatoosh wash machine walls of water10to 15 high and fog no turning back I looked back at my buddy hes sitting on the deck chair never even moved comes in after the crossing and said that was assume my hands where still stuck to the wheel you will not find another 29 that is that loaded and averages 2 miles a gal at and average speed 18 mph when your coming off a swell you can be doing 24 to 26 mph then when your on the back side you might slow down to 14 to 16 so I say average 18 to 19
