2010 Friday Harbor gathering

Well, Patti and I have decided to bite the bullet and host yet another Friday Harbor gathering...despite all the whining about the host of the trivia giveaway (me) not looking in the "right" direction :) So, the 2010 Friday Harbor gathering will be May 14-15-16 2010. Nothing like getting started early.
 
Barry, you're a glutton for punishment --- but such a good sport and we love ya'. But you know that !!
We thank both you and Patti for taking on, yet again, this wonderful CBGT.

WOW - that's forward thinking. I'll mark it on my calendar today and start planning my shrimping. The tides on those dates are similar to what they were this year. A deep low mid-day with nice tides in the evening and over night. I'll plan better this year and be ready to drop my pots for the brief 1 hour slack time in the mid day and then again in the evening.
 
Nice Job Barry and Patti! I'll be there! I'll put it on my calender and then it is a done deal. We will make it be so. Looking forward to getting to a few next year.

Great news, Barry! And for those who may be wondering, I have not yet decided whether or when to host another Anacortes CBGT but if I do it will not be so close to the FH event...

Hope they don't have a cruise ship in port that weekend. Having cruise ships stop at friday harbor just plain seems like a poor idea to me.
 
I will plan on adding this to our 2010 calender. You and Patti did a fantastic job this year (even my brother was impressed) and I thank you for your commitment.
 
Since y'all were so nice to a couple of "steroidally challenged" Brats at the last FH gathering, I am reprinting below the invite from the PNW organiser of the RF246 rendezvous.

Barry and Patti: We are in, no more accreditation visits scheduled. Of course they can drop in any time, but that would not be on a weekend day.

Merv: Tried to get to that "Rossi" site but could not make the trip. Can you please post the date and place here at least? Thanks.

Tanks for the headsup on the RF Rendezvous in Bremerton which runs the same time as the Ranger get together.

This happens to be the same weekend as the upcoming '09 Sequim CBGT.

So many possibilities and so little time!

Thanks for pointing that out. Seems that semi-retirement is not enough!
Anyway, the RF organiser didn't know about either the tugnuts or Sequim events and just wanted to reciprocate for the great reception we got at FH.

I thought it would have been a fun party to crash, but probably will stay in Sequim and enjoy Roger's weather. Thanks for the heads up on the rossi's though.
