07/15 - 07/17 Blakely Island

I am not sure why she called me, but Norma from Blakely Marina called today to find out if/when the C-Dory group would be coming back, if it would be the same weekend in July. I told her we were coming for sure, and I would let her know by tomorrow at the latest when we were coming - seems other groups want to lock up the available slips the same time we would normally be there. So I am planning to call her tomorrow and tell her we will be there Friday and Saturday nights, July 15 & 16. This is the same weekend as we had this year. Any problem with my telling her that? We don't have a lot of time to debate the date...I think she has already promised that weekend to another group if we don't commit to it now.

Yeah, I'm with Roger - its a no-brainer, if we want to go to Blakely, this is pretty much what we have to do. So I will call Norma today and confirm the dates. I will also ask if we should start making our individual reservations. Write this down: Blakely Marina and Store, 360-375-6121.

Time for an EVENT SIGN-UP now that we have the dates, right?
 
OK, I just got off the phone with Norma, we are confirmed for July 15 and 16 for Blakely Marina. She would like people to call for individual slip reservations in FEBRUARY.

Brock - I did not so much take this on as Norma dumped it in my lap, with little time to react!
 
Just talked to Norma and she said that we must have posted the dates on the web site because she has been getting a lot of :phone calls. :D :P :!: Can't wait. This was one of the best gatherings for us from last year. We will see you all soon :love :beer :cocktail

Glad you can make it, Diane and Jeff. Indeed, that was a great gig. Half of us went to Matia and Sucia, half chose to witness the killer whale show of a lifetime, and another other half did their own thing here and there.

The headline reads 7/5-7/17, but someone's just funnin'. It's really July 15-17, with some extending their stay for several more days.
 
Hey Pat.... Just looking at gatherings around the plant already scheduled for the Jul05 time frame (TC255 ready date).... Now, not being local up there, I think I recall Blakley Island being the island I traveled on (maybe) to get to E.Q. Harbor...where I bought my first TC...that Dusty broke in.... Hummm. This would be an ineresting location for the unveiling of the TC255.... I just might have to tow FreeByrd back up to her home waters and get Les to pull a switch-n-shop between 2 TomCats... I have things on FreeByrd (hot water heater, big-ol 1800 watt inverter...and some other gagets) that I would more than likely never get my money back on, but, unscrew a few bolts/screws, unhook a few wires...and they would be ready to install in another boat... This gathering could prove exspensive for me... and....somebody has to power the TC255 for showing. I think Les is one of the best at installing equipment on rigs...and to have ol Dusty leaning over his shoulder for adult supervision...and wow... what a combination.
