I have finalized the date for the gathering. We will have 550' of dock space with some electrical hookups. We will also have a room set aside Saturday afternoon for the potluck.
I was hoping to have dinner at Chinook's Friday night for those who show up on Friday. There also is a breakfast cafe that we can use Saturday morning. I also was planning to do a cruise on Lake Washington on Saturday.
We should also put aside some money so we can hire Barry to do his dance to make sure we have sun that weekend.

This one should be fun. Lots of new things to do and a chance for many of us to go through the locks again. Good restaurants, a good chandlery within walking distance and King Marine Canvas a short car ride away. Thanks for setting this up Fred.

Fred, Thanks for setting this up :thup We're looking forward to staying there again (a great experience when we had the 19CD).

Weather permitting, we'll be there :D

This looks like a blast. I have not been through the locks in years and cruising at night on lake union is awesome. For me it will be tough. I return from Europe on the night of the sixth. Sooooo I will be run out...I just don't think it's going to work.

Anything ever come up east of the Mississippi?

Absolutely! These events occur all over the country and in Canada too. If you want to see photos of many of the gatherings just click on Photos in the heading at the top of this page, then select Cruises and Events and start gazing at all the photos of the events.

I notice that this is your first posting on the site and that today you just joined the site. Welcome to the C-Brats. I'm certain others will chime in.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out. Just bought "Blues Cruiser" from Fred Simone in Virginia and had her shipped to warmer weather.

Joe, what a surprise, Great to "hear" your voice....it has been ages! Hope all is well with you and Peg! Glad to see you still have the Betty Louise.
I just viewed your photo album and am taken back in the years with the picture entitled "Misty Morning". A photo of our former 16' C-Dory rafted up to the Betty Louise in the early morning hours in Rosario Strait near Orcas Island and Lummi Island on our way to a gathering on Sucia Island. That was a long time ago.....probably in 2001. I don't remember who took the picture....thinking maybe Roger on Sensei.

This sounds fun! Our boat is in Shoreline but we live 10 blocks from Fisherman's Terminal. I think we need to practice maneuvering in tight spaces before then!

good to hear from you, buddy! i expect we'll be up there this summer with the betty louise. she's done quite a bit of traveling. even went through katrina (although i'd hauled her out of slidell la on lake Pontchartrain a week before landfall and put her in dry storage inland). I'll be sure to drop a line when plans are finalized and we can do some cruising.
