    Does anyone have any thoughts on stability with two kayaks loaded on top of the cabin? I have a 22ft Cruiser with a 90 hp Suzuki. I installed a Yakima rack and I want to carry a double and single plastic kayaks. I estimate rack plus kayaks weigh about 130 lbs.

    What's the Salvage edge? Thanks for your patience with my questions. When I actually start this work, I'll have someone knowledgable of fiberglass help me get started. BTW - the factory was more than happy to send me SS brackets, but I'm nearly convinced to do the fiberglass tabs.

    Thanks Thataway, yours posts are very helpful. I have a couple other questions. The fiberglass tabs are precut? Did you do that yourself or purchase them? And you glass them to the floor with cloth and then epoxied the wood laminates to the tabs? Also, the factory recommends 4200 over 5200...

    Thataway...... When you tab the panels down, how will you remove them in the future if they need to be replaced? I have wood laminate panels. I removed them in the first place to clean the mold off of them and replace those pesky brackets.

    I recently aquired an '04 22' Cruiser. It had ankle deep water in the cabin, not sure for how long. I've removed just about every L-bracket (also called corner bracket) in the cabin and need to replace most because of rust. Should I be concerned about the balsa core? Do the L-bracket screws...

    bottom paint

    Hello C-Dory folks. Very impressed with C-brats. What is the recommended time to repaint the bottom of the hull? I just bought a used 2004 22' Cruiser that has been in the water (ocean) year round. Thanks!
