I have a 20 gal tank that was disassembled by the previous owner for cleaning. The sending unit leaks around the joint when I fill it full. I tried removing it and using Permatex to seal it up, but it still leaks (the Permatex did slow it down some). Any suggestions on how to repair it...

If you folks are interested in coming up to the mid-Chesapeake area, I am aware of 4 or 5 C-Dories in the St. Michaels/Miles River area. Not sure how to contact them, but St. Michaels is a popular summer cruising destination. There are also some nice anchorages close by. Bob

Hi Sunbeam, I always thought that a stern light should only be visible from the rear. Ours is located on the back of the cabin roof..... It is on a separate switch so it can also be used to illuminate the cockpit as well. ie lot's of current drain while docked. Bob
