Picked up the motor and reinstalled it this morning, works great. He said that a bushing or bearing had seized ( forget which ) but everything else works fine. Water must of gotten in somehow and he said to put White grease on the motor face for prevention. Total cost $50.85 , way better than...

I connected the motor to a 12v battery and still it didn't work so I ended up taking the motor to a Motor Repair shop close by me. I took your advice and disassembled the Windlass than lubed and cleaned all the required parts, now I just have to wait on the repairman. Will post results. Tug

I have the same manual, I think I will take the motor somewhere to have it checked out. I will let you know how things turn out. Thanks Tug

Sept.6/2015 Here's the completed bridge , it didn't take them long to build it , here one day and gone the next. All the fishing was put on hold for a few days.

Found these poloriod pictures that I took about 10 years ago.The usa Army Corp of Engineers built a temporary bridge from Sugar Island Michigan to Garden River Ontario just in case some-one blew up the International Bridge.

Sept.6/2015 The deer turned back because of the fishing boats. Yesterday I saw a huge Surgeon leap straight up right out of the water. Great stuff.

07/14/2015 1st Atlantic Salmon of the year-only 8# but they sure fight. About 1/2 hour earlier I had one hit and nearly tore my rod holder off the boat , but the line broke at the split ring. FUN!
