My AIS black box em-trak ET-430-0013, B953, purchased from Milltech. It sends and receives and has a built in splitter for using the same antenna, as my VHF radio.

I have a Standard Horizon with AIS receive, but as is clear in this photo and the next, overlaying on the chart platter gives better immediate information. The screen on the radio has a bunch of dots, that are so close together, to provide little information, aside from having a LOT of targets.
