Paint color match for White / Blue 2008 22 Cruiser?

I've found that Rustoleum Painters Touch 2X Ultra Cover Heirloom White, comes pretty damn close. Also, Rust-Oleum American Accents 2X Ultra Cover “Gloss Navy Blue”, is somewhat close. If you feather out the blue, it's harder to notice. Neither are a perfect match. The white comes closer...

    Webasto Heater Installation

That might be an option. But I'm leaning more into leaving things alone, or placing a through hull next to the heater to draw air in from outside. Still have mixed feelings about it.

    Webasto Heater Installation

Hmmm, perhaps then I"m best leaving the setup alone... Just looking to keep outside moisture from coming in, and also keeping the cold air out at night when temps are below freezing.

2025 Bay and Delta extravaganza: Sign Up

Bob, you are correct. I jumped the gun a bit. While the main page on California's new boating card law makes it sound like even non-residents need the card, which is BS if the case, I did look a little farther. Once you get to their Q&A page: https://californiaboatercard.com/faqs-2/ It has...

2025 Bay and Delta extravaganza: Sign Up

Wow Jim. Sucks that California did that. I have both a USCG boaters card and another private boating safety class card. Crazy that California wants their own stuff....probably a way for them to make money off of boaters. It's time we just have a federal card for those of us that boat in...

    Webasto Heater Installation

That is true, regarding the size of the air inlet. However, since that combustion air is being vented overboard out the exhaust, it does create a small suction, which will draw outside colder, (and moist in the case of fog and rain) air into the boat. The ventilation air is equalized with both...

    Webasto Heater Installation

Hi Bob. Not sure you understood me. I’m speaking only of combustion air intake. I currently have a combustion air intake hose just hanging under the webasto. My tentative plans would be to connect the open end of that hose to a through hull close to the heater. I’m just wondering if others have...

    Webasto Heater Installation

Resurrecting this thread, as I'm thinking about changing my current Webasto setup to draw outside air for the combustion chamber. My though process being that as it is now, with the combustion air just being drawn from under the sink where my Webasto is located, is also bringing that outside...

    Lake Powell General Information

Thanks Bob. Interesting info about Antelope Marina. Swift is based in Phoenix, and many years ago I actually applied to drive semi truck for them. Much of the land in Northern Arizona is Navajo, Hopi, or several other tribe's land. Always been a lot of conflicts over land ownership over the years.

    Lake Powell General Information

Hi Bob. Actually depends on which post Donald was referring to, lol. I actually covered both the invasive species and the electronics in the thread…. The valet launching at Antelope requires payment. Lake Powell between Utah and the feds already got enough money from me! State Line Aux...

    Lake Powell General Information

Thanks Jody. Actually I put a post out on Wayneswords yesterday. I launched at Bay Bridge a couple of years ago, at least if that's the one at the marina there. I don't remember that ramp being shallow at all. At least not like Bull Frog. This was in early September. I'd love to join you...

    Lake Powell General Information

Hi Donald, SSobal answered it well. But to add a bit to it. If you travel west of the Rockies, you can expect to stop at each state for an AIS inspection of your boat. Most of these are pretty straight forward as long as your boat looks clean. And many states, even east of the Rockies...

    Lake Powell General Information

Bringing this thread back up with a question. I've never launched at Stateline or Wahweap. Anyone know how the ramps there compare to Bullfrog? Bullfrog was a real PITA to get my 22 off it's trailer when launching, due to how shallow the ramp was. You had to back the tow vehicle in the water...
