Maybe I should start a different thread... if so let me know. The National Forest Service owns that whole side of the lake. There's a National Forest Campground just a stone's throw from King Mountain Point... literally. Lots of folks just park and walk down trails to various spots on the lake...- tsargent

Incredible! Any idea what the largest gathering of 'Brats has been? The East Coast is primed and ready for sure!! Thanks for all your efforts. Maybe we should plan a Badin Lake gathering later in the fall?? Lots of National Forest shoreline and King's Mountain Point would make a super central...- tsargent
