So I love my new-to-me ‘98 cd22 but feel like the acoustics could be better in the cabin, mainly while under way. I was thinking about lining the ceiling and maybe walls with some 12x12 acoustic ceiling tiles. Has anyone ever tried this?
Just bought a ‘98 CD22 and I want to remove some fuel of questionable age/quality. Tried plastic tubing into the fill port but ran into anti-siphon I think. Removed fuel line from kicker and tried to start a siphon with the primer bulb to no avail.
Any ideas?
Just bought a ‘98 cd22. For some reason it came with a “new” stainless steel steering wheel.. Seems like most of the boats I’ve seen have black wheels.
Is the black wheel a “dory” thing.? If so, I want one.

Thanks all for the response.
Probably a survey would be a good idea. I had one done on a 40’ sundeck trawler and he spent 30% of his time tapping the hull from the outside with a ball peen hammer. That makes sense to me now and when my CD gets out of the shop I’m going to buy a ball peen hammer.
I just paid too much for a ‘98 CD22.
I was looking at YouTube and found this

Should I start sweating bullets?
