    Hi Sam, I am sorry to hear about your speed loss with the addition of the Permatrim. This is 99.9% of the time caused from the engine being mounted to low on the transom. If this is something you would like to correct and reap the benefits of the Permatrim, we can work it out on the site here...

    Oil filter on Yamaha 9.9

    The element on a 2004 and earlier F9.9 is located on the strb side of the engine. It is actually a drop in element and not a spin on element as the 2005 and newer F9.9s-F15's are. Its kind of hard to explain its location. Not sure how to post pics here so email me at parts@shipyardisland.com...

    Mercury Verado

    John, I am not sure what size HP you are looking at since I am under the impression that most C-dorys will not need an engine larger then the 150hp version. Those would be non-supercharged but still carry the "Verado" model name. As mentioned the Continuos(sp) Wave crowd discusses them a lot...
