Motor running, water hose not on - Stupid is ----

Thank you everyone for your replies and help. Indeed I always use ear muffs, which have always work great (except when you forget to turn on the water). So repairs are in order. Thanks,

Motor running, water hose not on - Stupid is ----

Honda 90 4 stroke. During the winter while the boat is out of the water I run the motor every few weeks, and disconnect the gas line and let it run out the gas. Yesterday I hooked up the hose and ran it for a while, turned the motor off and turned the water hose off. later I remembered I did...

    Fuel not getting to motor

Can't get fuel to pump from either tank, both of which are half full. First took off connector at motor, pumped bulb but nothing out of gas line. Next disconnected at the water separator, pumped but nothing, Next bypassed the tank selector, took the gas line directly from a tank, pumped but...

    C-Brat Burgee Order

My Burgee arrived yesterday and it is simply great. Thank you Da Nag for sending it and for all the work you did. Very much appreciated. (I'm going to hate having it on the boat getting dirty, it's so nice).

    Fuel not getting to motor

I think I've got it. By process of elimination it indeed must be the pickup in the tank. I will attempt to get into the tank and see what I can mess up (that's how it usually goes). Thanks for all your help.

    Fuel not getting to motor

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. It was so cold & windy yesterday so have not gone back to the marina. Did get some gas in a portable tank and hope to try that out tonight. Will disconnect the line at the fuel selector switch and see if the bulb pulls up the gas. Water separator should be...

    Fuel not getting to motor

Thank you Digger, never have thought about the bulb being upright, always just been on top of the tank horizontal. I will try this first. Never have moved the tank selector so know it's OK. Next I will try the portable tank. That will be great to help isolate the problem Thanks for your help.

    Fuel not getting to motor

Gas in not making it to the 90 hp Honda, (2004 22'). I put on a new primer and checked all the hose clamps. Lines look fine, tank is half full. I took off the motor connector and pumped, no gas at all, nothing but air. On the upstream side of the bulb I have the multi tank valve, and then...

    Propeller "rattle"

My boat is out of the water for the winter. On the 90 Honda I just has my aluminum prop refurbished. It is back on and snug, no givel at all. Running it with the hose attached it sounds fine in neutral, but putting it into forward or reverse I hear a irregular "clank" that I have never heard...

    C-Brats hats

Another source for caps & t-shirts , etc. I got several C-Dory embroidery caps & t-shirts from Bergen & Co. Just go to the Triton Marine web site, click on "store". The service was good and the quality was excellent.

What Options would you like on a New 22 cruiser

My boat is on a small lake, sure don't need radar and all the other stuff mentioned as they would hike the price of the basic boat $20,000. Never used the porti potty (removed it) nor the icebox. What the C-Dory 22 really needs is a better hand hold when going forward. As it is you must let go...

Tarps / covers for 22 Cruiser

Those of you with tarps for your 22 Cruisers can you tell me where you ordered them. Do they need to be custom made or will a ready made work. Really need one to keep out leaves & pine straw while my boat is parked at the house in the winter. Thanks

    Roof AC removal

Thank you for all the great info & help. I think y'all want to know why I would remove the AC if it still works. I envy those of you who take days or weeks trips and an AC would be necessary. I also love all the pictures of your C-Dorys on nice smooth waters. But this is my situation. My 22...
