Thanks for the info Brent. I just ordered one from Amazon. I'm sure the old one will be toast after I pry it out of the Permatex. I have a suspicion that one or more of the screw hole may be stripped. I'll try to get the tank out this week... Bob

I have a 20 gal tank that was disassembled by the previous owner for cleaning. The sending unit leaks around the joint when I fill it full. I tried removing it and using Permatex to seal it up, but it still leaks (the Permatex did slow it down some). Any suggestions on how to repair it...

If you folks are interested in coming up to the mid-Chesapeake area, I am aware of 4 or 5 C-Dories in the St. Michaels/Miles River area. Not sure how to contact them, but St. Michaels is a popular summer cruising destination. There are also some nice anchorages close by. Bob
