Good Friend and fishing buddy Ira. Excellent weather, calm water, imported German weiss beer, smoked whitefish for lunch, fresh herring in the cooler - Life is great!
Dock at Raber, MI launch site. Excellent free launch. free overnight parking. Directly across from Lime Island, about 15 miles north of Detour.
Round Island, Lighthouse turned into a personal residence.
Lime Island Herring fishing fleet. Lots of boats, a few fish, but more than enough for a great on the boat fish fry.
