Finally finished with the watermaker! This is the blue test water outlet line. The initial output is tested for salinity until it has almost 0 salt before routing the drinkable water forward to the water tank.
Fresh water distribution valve sends the water to the head sink for testing before switching it up to the tank fill.
Dana missed the shot of me waist deep upside down in the cabinet with parts everywhere so this will have to do, this is a very complex installation and the directions are minimal and UTube didn\'t help as much as usual, anyway read 10 times cut once and cross your fingers. We have to run it 4-6 hours out of the harbor to eliminate all the factory preservative, a major hassle. Update... we just called the Spectra tech line and they picked up first time, we need to ignore the printed manual (worst case scenario) and use dock water through charcoal filter for a 30 minute flush, much happier, great service line. (The little Engle freezer on the background right just fits into the first port closet cabinet).

Almost finished, the flowmeter and pressure gauge were hard to find a convenient spot for. In the background you can see the copper foil that is the caries the ground plane from the SSB transceiver antenna tuner to the through hulls under the step where it is well bonded.
The Clark pump has enough hose so it can slide out for easy maintenance. The freshwater output is about 8 gallons hr. drawing slightly over 8 amps, a very efficient system. Our solar system has a peak output of about 28 amps. All up system weight is 62 pounds way less than 2, 5 gallon water containers.
