Monday morning - June 1. Finally the wind is a ghost of it's former self.
They seem to really like anything white and lights at night.
This is the time of year for these tiny flying bugs. I think it is what the Marsh Wrens were eating. They also provided a little extra protein in my breakfast.

Down the beach I met this couple. They were 15 miles in the opposite direction from where they thought they were. It all looks alike.
You can just make out the Marsh Wren near the center. These guys would not sit still for a picture.
Okay, the water is brownish green, and the sand is not white, but there is bamboo and it is out of the wind.
