Forgot to get a photo of the thru-hull so this will have to do..its the larger one just behind the sink drain.
Shadows create an optical illusion, the wiring and cables are actually separated from the exhaust by a good 4 inches. The exhaust port also has a guard tacked to the top of it so really it's impossible for the wires to come into contact even if somehow they fell or sagged.
Intake and exhaust ducting (exhaust line runs inside of the larger diameter intake duct), wrapped in cloth insulation, must be 3' or less. Mine is probably about 2.75 ft at this location.
