The gen is very quiet! The original Honda fuel cap was modified by screwing a 1/4in m-f 90 degree fitting into the cap in place of the vent. Atwood sprayless connectors are used on both ends of fuel line and on both tanks. These connectors seal both the tanks and the fuel line when line is removed. The tie down strap is slightly loosened when the gen is running to allow the engine feet to better cushion the gen.
