If the canyon had water, you would find these little guys.
We stopped at the head of most canyons for a walk or to eat lunch.
Our typical anchorage was someplace nobody else could get in to.

We were the only ones at Rainbow Bridge.
The chart plotter was quite accurate (until losing GPS in the slot canyons) and the sonar showed usually flat canyon bottoms.
These guys were around on both sides of the canyon.
