Probably a much better general solution. The $39 (on sale) West M 7" hook floating 4 step ladder. Standoffs lengthened 3" for CD setback. Stores easily right in front of gas tanks under cover in unusable space. Hand hold and bimini frame provide good high grasps and allow for taking a lot of weight off the ladder as boarder comes out of water.

Pontoon Ladder Project Lot to be said in favor of the nifty little fold ups. Not sure why I did this as I still do not have a hard time stepping from the Permatrim to the transom (so long as I'm wearing shoes)
Got a new Pontoon Ladder. Fits snug and tight under cleat (for grankid type weights) Am going to have to devise system with standoffs for my weight. Also need to decide where to store the monster.
