Solar Panels, Solar Pulse SP-2 charge batteries and prevent sulfating. These were on my C-Dory 22 and I never charged batteries, aside from when we were aboard using lots of electrical devices, without the outboard running. These panels are mounted on top of the generator mount and the feet of the Honda generator mounts either side of the panels. The only time that the panels are covered, the generator would be in operation and the panels would serve no purpose.
