Port midship cleat backing plate. NOTE: All Stainless Steel Backing Plates for Cleats and Windless are 3/32" thick, plus SS Fender Washers. All bolt holes have been drilled out large enough to get a "Dremel" router bit in and cut back expanded foam Core between top and bottom fiberglass. Then fillback in with thickened apoxy and later re-drilled again to fit bolt size. This proceedure reduces the possibilityy of over tightening the cleat fastening bolts and crushing the expanded strafoam core.
