Our third big boat. A 1997 45' Stolkraft was used for the bulk of the Great Circle Loop. We decided to pick up the trip after Mary had healed so we got the Stolkraft. This was the beginning of my love of catamarans. Great handling cat but liked our retirement fund as much as we did.

Our current boat is a 1999 C-Dory TomCat. I had been looking for one of these for min. 5 years before we found this one. Now we are talking about when we fully retire, trailering back to the areas of the Loop that we liked the best and doing them over again plus many other inland rivers and lakes.

Our fourth big boat. A 1997 26' Sea Cat was used to complete the last leg of our Great Circle Loop, about 1000 miles including crossing the gulf.

Our third big boat. A 1997 45' Stolkraft was used for the bulk of the Great Circle Loop. We decided to pick up the trip after Mary had healed so we got the Stolkraft. This was the beginning of my love of catamarans. Great handling cat but liked our retirement fund as much as we did.

Our second big boat. A 1988 36' Carver, we decided to do the Great Circle Loop and started it with this aft cabin. Due to Mary having a bicycle accident 2 months into the trip we sold the boat and stopped the loop and went home. Not sure if we would ever finish to Loop.

This is our 5th big boat. We looked for over 4 years for this boat. This is her sitting in the storage yard. We wanted a trailerable, smaller, more economical, more livable boat. And this was it for us.
