Float On trailer fender supports this is the area where we have cracking occur. To stiffin up the arrangement we added a piece 0f 3/8 x 3 1/2 x 13 3/4 long piece of aluminum plate.
black box has battery for breakaway should the truck and trailer become separtated. This controller works well with my 2009 Chevy built in digital brake controller set the gain to 4 and it seems to be about right for the braking force.Swap done by our trailer's daddy Float On Trailers in Vero Beach Florida On to Key West
New Longer tongue with Electric over Hydraulic Carlise unit. Recently upgraded to a 1600 PSI brake from the original 1200 PSI unit. The heavier duty unit works even better. The 1600 PSI unit is recommended for disc brakes not the drum type.
