Our anchorage the night of the big storm. We bumped the slick rock and then went hard aground. We fared much better than some boats.
Getting into the canyons early means that the slalom racers aren't making waves and you can see things like this.
Sunrise pictures are nice.

The source of the stream was springs seeping out of the Kayenta layer on the canyon's south side. If you are a bird watcher, just sit here for a minute.
Another neighbor. I haven't identified this one yet.
The easiest hike. The little stream didn't make it to the lake, but the further up I went the bigger it got.
