Bypassed all the craziness in the Intracoastal WW by running offshore from Lake Worth to Miami. Coming in the main channel.
Near Indian Town Marina. This is where it all began for us. Twenty years ago we bought a used Morgan 33 Out Island and spent 4 years living aboard in the Caribbean. Great memories and not much has changed. A quiet, laid back, easy livin' place to stay.
One of 4 locks on the waterway. This one was open, another dropped 14 ft.

The name of this place must be "Party Central", in Fort Myers bay.
Of course the osprey nests were everywhere and full of chicks.
This is the Everglades Isle Resort in Everglades City. VERY nice accomodations, and as it was off season, we were the only boat there.
