Emulsifier-Tube: 2 of 4 of these tubes had hairline cracks in them; very delicate. Cracks are very small and cannot be seen in this photo.

Intake, Carbs, Silencer-from-back-side: The intake gasket and all carb gaskets should be replaced.
Intake manifold carbs Silencer Assy. You must remove this entire assembly to disassemble the carbs. It is easy to take out the nine bolts holding the intake to the head.
Carb-viewed-from-bottom-with bowl-cover-removed: Below brass cap screw in center lies main nozzle and emulsifier tube (slow jet). Two other jets unscrew for inspection and cleaning. Float has been removed.
