Here's the core. I'll spiff it up and wear it on a chain around my neck.

Once all the wet epoxy tacked up I back filled everything with thickened epoxy.

In the next day or two I'll sand everything down again, paint on some of the gray epoxy paint, drill the mount holes and get that sucker mounted.

It took me a few days to get over the apprehension but I finally cut the BIG friggen hole.

Dug out balsa with a dental tool. Brushed in some wet epoxy.

Starting working the foredeck for my windlass install.
