For the last 1.5 hours it was too lumpy to handle the camera, hands were full keeping the boat out of trouble from Holmes Harbor to Hat Island. Here I'm on my way fleeing into Everett for the night, the waves much better now.

At first I thought I might stay at Jetty Island for the night. That is until the first tug boat and barge went up the slough at full clip and knocked everything around. That and the stench from the public restrooms on the dock.
Entrance into Everett is usually a bit chaotic as the waves bounce off sea wall and combine with the incoming waves.
Everett Naval base

Winds really picking up just south of Penn Cove. But still relatively calm at this point.
Still flat calm at the north end of Whidbey, ahead of a SCA. Will I make it through before the winds and big waves hit?
