chain with sunbrella covering trailer tonque lock in a bored out shackle thru eye in the plated eye has bolt head welded on the undeneath side of plate.
Another way to lock using chain and shackle, a padlock but that rattles if you run it with the padlock in place
my fuel water separator sits outside on the other end of this motor well and has an extra outlet for me to run a direct fuel line to the generator. I do have a Wise extended run tank.

drilled hole on vertical side of plate for drain hole to match up with boats motor well scupper. Getting the correct angle was a pain to get plate to sit level while getting tight to the transom. When the boat is in the water and loaded the plate seems to be parallel with the water
Generator with northeast style theft deterrents installed. Boy this is starting to look like an over kill. Chain will get canvas cover except for the ends
plate installed on existing swim platform bolts, small angles welded to prevent generator from sliding around. will make wood or starboard plate with anti skid to go on plate when generator is not in use.Will also double use as a bait board. Pic's later. Just using generator at anchor stays in cockpit while underway.
