7 mph is a nice slow cruise speed although requires sitting on the middle bench. Will need a tiller extension.
Got 18 mph on the 6 hp Johnson, 1 person, and full boat of gear.
Opened her up for a few minutes just to test the engine. First time out with this motor, too.

Something about early mornings on a flat calm lake.
Heading out the canal. Depth sounder came with the boat and worked surprisingly well.
It floats!
