Long Island Sound Tidal Flows and Weather Stations
Potential Maximum Wave Height, customized for Long Island Sound, based upon wind velocity, direction and fetch. I no longer rely on the NOAA for predicted wave heights in my area, using them only for wind velocity and direction. Betty Ann falls off of 4 foot wave at only 8 mph, then hit calmer head seas of 2 to 2.5 feet, traveling around 10 to 12 mph as we head back home to Niantic Bay
