Experimented with a new method for tying to the buoy- it seemed to work well to minimize the thumps in the night when it is calm. unfortunately I don't think this will work with the larger State Park buoys.

The descent throught the woods. It is a short hike to the top of Chadwick hill, only about 15 minutes from the beach, but in about half a mile you climb to 450 feet!
